“Like one of those hostage videos” – reactions to Johnson casting vote with Carrie Symonds

Hundreds of online users have reacted to a video showing prime minister Boris Johnson walking to the polling station with his fiancée Carrie Symonds.

Many found the walk unusual with jokes being thrown around about the couple.

Johnson and Symmonds were headed to vote for the London mayor elections, where Conservative candidate Shaun Bailey was up against 19 other candidates – including incumbent Sadiq Khan and Count Binface, who said he is more qualified than his competitors.

The reactions come only a week after Johnson was trending on Twitter as ‘Boris The Liar’ because of allegations he said he would rather “let the bodies pile high” than have more lockdowns.
