The home secretary simply shook her head after deputy speaker Eleanor Laing gave her the opportunity to correct the record.

The shadow home secretary put Braverman to task over her weekend trip to Rwanda, where she visited properties earmarked for asylum seekers.

She described the differences within the Conservative Party as "an ongoing psychodrama" in comments that have been widely praised.
The former Labour leader is 7/4 to win the seat with leading bookmakers, but he will have to do so as an independent.
