Over the last year, about 15 MPs are thought to have been investigated by the Parliament watchdog on allegations of bullying, harassment or sexual misconduct.
It comes as several other key London boroughs fall into Labour hands, including Wandsworth and, for the first time ever, Barnet.
Boris Johnson’s party suffered losses to Labour in Wandsworth and Barnet, with defeat also expected in the local election in Westminster.
“Much more intervention is needed to address the systemic issues with bullying and harassment, sexual misconduct, unhealthy work patterns, and other problems that have permeated our workplace for decades”.
