The Tory MPP urged the Home Secretary to “get on and do her job” but shied away from calling for her to resign.
Sir Bob Neill criticised Suella Braverman’s planned immigration reforms for focusing too heavily on the law rather than tackling the asylum backlog.
The body issued the warning ahead of the Commons report stage of the proposed legislation.
"This should send the country into shock and outrage. If you watch just one thing today make it this," Peter Stefanovic said.
"I wasn't getting it before two weeks ago, Mr Harper. I wasn't getting all these pictures of golliwogs, why am I getting them now?
She said she thought about calling into a radio show as Margaret from Fareham to big up the home secretary.
The move could undermine the rule of law, a former top judge has warned.
