The Duke of York paid a multi-million dollar out of court settlement just a few weeks ago to settle a civil sexual assault case brought against him.

"So he settle this court case on international women's day," wrote one person.

A Labour MP has vowed to ask where the money came from when MPs return to Westminster next week.

The Duke of York won't be allowed to deny that he raped Giuffre under the terms of the pair's settlement.

The PM was a vocal supporter of the prince when sexual assault claims broke in a US courtroom in 2015.

"It's astonishing, the most vulnerable people in society have £20 a week taken off them by the government but the Queen can find £12m to bail out her deviant son."

He also said the settlement was a "huge relief to the royal family in a very special Jubilee year", much to the bemusement of people on social media.
