Lord Frost said the situation in Northern Ireland is "unsatisfactory" to "all sides" - and called for the protocol to be overhauled

Frost’s latest remarks have been slammed as “a very strange way to make friends and build partnerships”.
He accused the administration in Dublin of only advocating for the nationalist side of the community in Northern Ireland and ignoring the concerns unionists have over the imposition of Irish Sea trade barriers under the terms of the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement.
Outgoing DUP leader Edwin Poots said he had received a personal assurance from the government that significant changes will be made to the Northern Ireland Protocol.
"The saddest thing of all for Edwin Poots is that he’s not even a record-breaker: Diane James was leader of UKIP for 18 days in 2016," one person said.
"We cannot stand for the partition of the UK," said the man who doesn't understand the Northern Ireland protocol.
