Health Minister Helen Whately had been expected to announce the pay rise in the Commons today - but didn't.
“We TOLD you, Boris Johnson. We told you. You couldn’t care less,” one doctor said.
"Gestures have become insults," one person said, while others said the move was "so utterly unimaginative".
"They obviously deserve a lot more than that. They have done an amazing job getting us through the pandemic," he said.
"Finding cancer early, when treatment is more likely to be successful, is one of the most significant opportunities we have to reduce the burden of cancer."
More contracts for mates?
Dido Harding said she would aim to end NHS reliance on foreign medics if appointed new boss of the health service.
“I hope the NHS staff here on Twitter see this thread and feel the appreciation they deserve," a Labour County Councillor said after reading the heart-warming replies.
