PPE Medpro is facing a £133 million High Court claim from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

"Barrowman says how he organises his affairs isn't a matter of public debate. It is when he breaks the law", a tax expert has pointed out.

Doug Barrowman, who led the consortium PPE Medpro, also claimed the Department of Health had shown ‘lamentable failures’ when procuring supplies.

“We were forced to spend several thousand pounds of costs in legal fees responding to her mendacious threats. We want our money back."
