Junior doctors in England have begun a six-day walkout.
Members of the British Medical Association will mount picket lines outside hospitals across the country for the second of a three-day walkout.
“In the last junior doctors’ strike, we saw about 175,000 appointments and operations having to be postponed."
Tens of thousands of appointments and operations are expected to be cancelled as a result of the 72-hour strike in England.
