The tweet claimed that supplies for Rees-Mogg's summer soirée had been victim of the traffic chaos at Dover.
"I never realised Rees-Mogg and the Grim Reaper shared an office. I mean, it makes sense...," wrote one person after seeing the pic.
When asked how his nappy-changing was going following the birth of his sixth child, Mogg replied: “The nanny does it brilliantly.”
"She's probably a stronger Brexiteer than both of us", they said of the MP who passionately campaigned to remain in the European Union in 2016.
The Tory minister said he was ‘honoured’ to be endorsed by the punk singer.
"The haunted pencil has never got anything right and he is continuing that trend," said one person in response to his comments.
