Israel’s air, ground and sea assault in the territory has killed more than 22,300 people so far, two-thirds of them women and children.
The figure amounts to nearly 1 per cent of the territory’s pre-war population.
It comes as president Joe Biden warned that Israel was losing international support because of its “indiscriminate bombing” of Gaza.
Tzipi Hotovely, Israel’s ambassador to the UK, said Tel Aviv does not support Palestinians having an independent state in the Middle East.
The actor read out Refaat Alareer's verse as Israeli warplanes continued to strike parts of the Gaza Strip in relentless bombardments.
The proportion of deaths is higher than that in all world conflicts in 20th century, an Israeli study has found.
"Where are all these Gazans going to live when this is over?", the TalkTV host asked.
He said, in the language of the 1948 UN Convention, conditions have been calculated to "bring about the destruction of Palestinians".
