The former party leader was speaking at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
In the first poll on Scottish voting intentions released in 2023, backing for a Yes vote was at 46 per cent when ‘don’t knows’ are removed.
The survey also put support for the SNP in a de facto referendum general election at 53 per cent.
Scots must play to their virtues of pragmatism and honesty if they are to make independence a success.
"It will galvanise public opinion in every city, town, village and community the length and breadth of the country", Keith Brown said.
“Today’s ruling blocks one route to Scotland’s voice being heard on independence – but in a democracy our voice cannot and will not be silenced.”
The panel of five justices will hand down their decision on Wednesday morning.
“The only thing is, I just wish the people of Scotland would have a bit more confidence.”
