The Home Office has handed removal instructions to EU nationals - even though they could prove they’ve applied for settled status.

“Windrush did not happen in a day but happened in silence. Each one of us still has a part to play," said campaigners whilst highlighting discrimination EU citizens are already facing.
“Maybe there is just an error in the system but this is not right, this is just awful," one person told TLE.
"EU citizens. Less important than sausages."
There is a real risk that "many EU citizens will fall through the cracks and be left without status," the IPPR's associate director said.
"This is exactly why people like me need a physical card to prove their status," one EU citizen in the UK said.
The EU settlement scheme has been criticised for its "lack of inclusivity" and ongoing technical problems.
