Stephen Dixon dragged up a 2014 tweet in a bid to challenge the Labour MP on the St George's Cross. It didn't go very well.
"The whole country's response is bring it on... to get rid of this lot", the Shadow Attorney General told Sky News.
"The CPTPP is not the answer to leaving the European Union"
Shadow attorney general Emily Thornberry defended the ad and said the critics of the social media post are ‘wrong’.
"I just don't think this government takes it seriously. I think they think they can just wait it out and the workers will just go back to work."
"How many insects need to be consumed before MPs are held to a code of conduct fit for their position?"
“My heroes are Churchill and Thatcher, hers are Lenin and Corbyn", she said.
Thornberry tweeted: "We've spoken to many other Westminster residents voting Labour today, with this ex Tory Minister or are staying at home."
