Brexit diminished UK services exports by £110 billion, research shows
Experts found that UK services exports between 2016 and 2019 were £113 billion lower than they would have been if not for Brexit.
The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).
Experts found that UK services exports between 2016 and 2019 were £113 billion lower than they would have been if not for Brexit.
So that's £110 billion out and £140 million in - a net loss of £109.86 billion!
“We have had reports of people’s walls being taken down, damage to cars, lorries getting stuck.”
The UK’s obsession with regulation autonomy has “strong implications", Luisa Santos said.
In 2017 the former Vote Leave director admitted they won because they lied to the public.
It comes as the bloc committed €5 billion to protect its member states from adverse economic effects caused by Britain's split.
The statements have been made as part of an inquiry into how the UK and the EU member states are supporting citizens rights.
