The UK is the first and so far only country to have left the EU and Brexit was and is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) and the European Atomic Energy Community (EAEC or Euratom). The official withdrawal was at 23:00 31 January 2020 GMT (00:00 CET).

The SNP’s Patrick Grady said the Government should admit there is ‘little to no demand or interest for this supposedly glorious Brexit benefit’.
Brexit, which was a defining factor in Boris Johnson’s victory in 2019, is now at its lowest point on the public’s agenda for over a decade.
"They’ve given up now", Brian Cox said in response to the reports.
His comments have been echoed by Dan Poulter, who recently defected to the Labour Party.
“The Government has single handily created the world’s most inefficient and expensive border,” Nigel Jenney has said.
“This place shuts its eyes to the devastating impact it is having on people’s lives and businesses", Deidre Brock said.
He said he would never have pursued the Rwanda deal as prime minister because "we could return people directly to France" back then.
The cap on bankers' bonuses was removed to make the UK look more attractive post-Brexit, but it doesn't seem to be working.
