Ian Hislop launched a scathing attack against Boris Johnson, ripping into the former Prime Minister for his COVID Inquiry testimony.
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is a British politician and writer serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since July 2019. He was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs 2016-2018 and Mayor of London 2008-2016. Johnson has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015 and was previously MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008. He has been described as adhering to the ideology of one-nation and national conservatism.

The former prime minister gave evidence to the Covid-19 Inquiry for a second day.
Johnson also rejected the suggestion that he considered injecting himself with Covid-19 on TV to show it did not pose a threat.
The apparent comments were included in the diary of Sir Patrick Vallance, the Government’s former chief scientific adviser.
Boris Johnson apologised for his language in an appearance at the Covid-19 Inquiry.
“When I went into intensive care, I saw around me a lot of people... And some of us were going to make it and some of us weren’t."
"If anyone wants to see what they are hiding, I’ve got the team", Jennifer Arcuri posted.
The former prime minister boasted of ‘shaking hands continuously’ at that time.
The First Minister said his brother-in-law and his family have no way of reaching the Rafah crossing into Egypt as fighting continues.
