Neil told Morgan to heed the lessons if his ill-fated stint at GB News.
Neil said the right-wing channel's botched launch left him sleep-deprived and "in despair".
Neil resigned from GB News last week, saying he did not want to work for a "British Fox News".
He said the launch of the channel could not be described as a “startling success” and that he felt he was in a “minority of one” about its future.
“A sad loss for the channel’s zero viewers," comedian James Felton said.
Ann Widdecombe and Martin Daubney are reportedly being lined up as new presenters.
The average number of people tuning in has dropped by more than 20,000 per day since its debut in June.
"Starting a channel to promote free speech and oppose cancel culture, then suspending a presenter for taking a knee, is incredibly bizarre."
It comes as chancellor Rishi Sunak is to become the first major political guest to appear on the news channel.
