Infamous boxer Tyson Fury has announced his retirement in a rage-fuelled tweet.
The heavyweight champion lost his cool on the social media platform after a dramatic few weeks in which he pulled out of the Wladimir Klitschko rematch because of mental health problems and tested positive for cocaine in a random drugs test.
Fury, who holds the WBA and WBO world titles, had recently posted a cryptic tweet after reports about him testing positive for cocaine were leaked. The self-proclaimed Gypsy King posted his head on the body of Al Pacino’s Tony Montana sitting with a pile of cocaine on a table in front of him with the hashtag #Tysonmontana.
But today he seems to have lost the plot altogether, announcing his retirement in an expletive tweet. He said boxing is “the saddest thing” he has ever took part in and that it is “all a pile of shit”, before confirming he is retired and telling his 474,000 followers to “go suck a dick”.
Boxing is the saddest thing I ever took part in, all a pile of shit, I’m the greatest, & I’m also retired, so go suck a dick, happy days.???
