Farage now 6/4 to run for Parliament at the next General Election

Brexiteer Nigel Farage is 6/4 with Star Sports to run for Parliament at the next General Election, while the bookmaker offer 7/2 for the former UKIP man to be a Conservative Party candidate.

Following the Tory Conference, where Farage was seen partying with the likes of Priti Patel and Liz Truss, the leading political betting firm think there’s a chance he’ll be boasting a blue rosette when the UK next goes to the polls.

Alternatively, and with the Conservatives lacking much opposition to Labour’s Sadiq Khan in the capital, Star Sports make it 10/1 for Kent-born Farage to stand as a Conservative candidate for the 2024 London Mayoral Election.

Luke Tarr, Head of PR at Star Sports, said: “The appetite for a bet on Nigel Farage to join the Conservatives is growing following his presence at this week’s party conference.

“Farage never seems too far away from the action and he’s fancied at 6/4 to run for Parliament as an independent, or for a party other than the Tories, while standing as a Conservative isn’t out of the question at 7/2.

“Is Farage the man that the Conservative Party need to take on Sadiq Khan in the capital? We’re not so sure, but anything is possible with him, and we make it 10/1 that he’ll be a Tory candidate for next year’s London Mayoral Election.”
