Donald Trump has labelled Volodymyr Zelensky a “dictator” as the row between the pair deepens.
Writing on Truth Social, the US president said: “A dictator without elections, Zelensky better move fast or he is not going to have a country left.
“In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the war with Russia, something all admit only TRUMP and the Trump administration, can do. Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring peace, and Zelensky probably wants to keep the ‘gravy train’ going.
“I love Ukraine, but Zelensky has done a terrible job, his country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – and so it continues…”
His comments come after Zelensky accused the president of “living in a disinformation space” created by Russia, after the Trump administration held talks with Moscow in Saudi Arabia
However, despite being the country that was actually invaded by Russia, Ukraine was not invited to the talks, something that President Volodymyr Zelensky labelled a “surprise.”
In response, Trump seemed to blame Ukraine for the war lasting three years, and suggested they “started” the conflict.
