In the final PMQs before the local elections, Sir Keir Starmer kept to Labour’s core campaign message on the cost of living crisis.
Turning specifically to the issue, Sir Keir Starmer said the situation was “blindingly obvious months ago” and asked why the prime minister is the only leader in the G7 to have raised taxes amid the crisis.
Starmer called the PM the “Comical Ali of the cost of living crisis”.
