The Conservative party has strenuously denied offering the Brexit Party leader an honour in return for standing candidates down during the election.
The Brexit Party leader was addressing an event for supporters in North Wales.
"I recognise much of the Conservative manifesto because they're things that I have campaigned on for years", he said.
He said patriotic voters in places like Hartlepool would vote for his party because of their view of Jeremy Corbyn.
The move could hamper Tory efforts to win a majority, as Mr Farage risks splitting the pro-Brexit vote between his party and the Conservatives.
Far from being a hero, the Brexit Party leader had simply faced up to the reality that his party was done for.
