Late last week it was revealed that there was a What’s app group used by females in Westminster that list certain men, including senior MPs, who need to be avoided, to reduce the risk of unwanted sexual harassment.
The names of these men have not been released by any political party, as yet. However, today the Mail on Sunday reported that Mark Garner, International Trade Minister, admitted referring to his secretary as “sugar tits” and also made her purchase sex toys for him.
Garnier, 53, came clean after the allegations had been made. He said that he “was not going to be dishonest.” Mr Garnier said he had handed money over to his secretary, Caroline Edmondson, to buy to vibrators. He waited outside the shop, based in Soho, central London. One of the sex aids was for his wife, the other was for one of his female assistants.
Father-of-three, Garner, denied the 2010 incident constituted sexual harassment and the “vibrator shop was high jinks”.
There was another sexually controversy involving Tory MPs. This time Stephen Crabb, who ran for leadership of the party, admitted sexting a 19-year-old who was interviewed for a job with him. The 44-year-old devout Christian has admitted to these string of inappropriate texts.
