Detectives have launched an investigation after human remains were found behind a block of flats.
Police responded to reports shortly after 12:15pm yesterday (mon) after a member of the public found what they thought to be human remains on land near V4 Watling Street, in Milton Keynes.
Officers have currently put a scene watch in place at the rear of Granby Court flats and are in the early stages of an investigation.
Thames Valley Police are working to establish the identity and circumstances of the death, which is being treated as unexplained.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve Raffield said: “People in the community may notice an increased police presence in the area over the coming days while officers deal with this incident.
“If anyone has any concerns, or wishes to raise anything with officers, please speak to those on the scene or you can call our non-emergency number, 101.”
