Ring Doorbell offers $1 million for alien footage

Ring cameras have absolutely blown up over the past few years.

Gone are the days of the good old fashioned knocker or bell, now it’s all techno techno, being able to talk through your door from anywhere in the world, we truly are living in the modern world.

According to reports Ring currently have more than 10 million users across the globe and if you’re one of them, they’re looking for you.

If you happen to have footage captured on your Ring camera which shows ‘unaltered scientific evidence of a real extraterrestrial lifeform’ then Ring want you to submit that footage to them and if they like it they’ll reward you with $1 million (£819k).

In a press release for their ‘Million Dollar Search for Extraterrestrials’ competition, the popular home surveillance company said: “Customers all over the world capture life’s unexpected and delightful moments through their Ring Video Doorbells and Cameras. Now, you could be rewarded for catching an otherworldly sighting.”

It went on: “Whether it’s a video of an extraterrestrial walking (or flying?) up your driveway and asking for directions or an unidentifiable lifeform exhibiting unusual and extraordinary behavior in your backyard – submit your best footage!”

But if you want to submit then you’ve got to be quick as the deadline is 11:59pm on November 3.

There’s no fee to take part but you do have to be over 18.

Clips can also be no longer than one minute long.
