Police have launched an investigation into a triple stabbing in a city centre after a night of shocking violence.
Three men were stabbed after violence erupted in the early hours of Sunday morning.
West Midlands Police were called to North Street, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, just after midnight when two men were found on the floor with serious stab wounds.
They were taken to hospital and a third man, also found to have been stabbed, sustained minor injuries.
Police are trawling CCTV and conducting forensic enquiries while a cordon remains in place at Wadhams Fold, just off North Street.
The attacker or attackers are still at large and no arrests have been made.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a triple stabbing in Wolverhampton city centre just after 12am this morning (28/4).
“Officers were called to North Street near to Wolverhampton Civic Hall where two injured men were found on the floor.
“They were taken to hospital with serious injuries, where they remain today in a serious but stable condition. A third man also sustained minor injuries.
“CCTV and forensic enquiries continue to establish the circumstances around the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact us via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight or to call 101 anytime.
