It poured $50.2 million, or 96 percent of its total outside spending, into these races, and lost only one — an open seat in Nevada, vacated by the Democratic Minority Leader, Harry Reid.
Calls for gun control have been sparked again following deadly shootings in Nevada, which has left 59 people dead and 527 injured.
The massacre comes following shootings in Orlando, Florida last year, where 49 people were killed and 58 were wounded.

The US is the only economically advanced nation in the world where roughly two mass shootings have occurred every month for the past eight years.
