Labour will take no lessons from Donald Trump who wants to deny healthcare to millions in America with a system that checks your purse before it checks your pulse, Shadow Health Secretary Jonathan Ashworth said today.
In a speech to parliament the Labour MP referenced protests this weekend that saw thousands of Brits take to the street in protest of a health system that is crumbling at the seams.
He said: “The NHS model isn’t broke, but it does need more funding”.
