A smirking hoodie who SHOT a terrified young Nando’s waitress in the head from point blank range with a pellet gun is being hunted.
Police say the yob ran off laughing with pals from the restaurant near Westminster Cathedral in central London, leaving the 16-year-old waitress “shaken and upset.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident involving a BB gun at lunchtime on Tuesday November 13th.
Detective Constable Kathryn Waite, of Westminster CID, said: “Those involved may have thought this to be a prank and found it funny, but it left the victim shaken and upset.
“We would urge anybody who was in the restaurant or around the local area at that time, who saw what happened or recalls seeing this group to get in touch.”
Police were called to the incident at Nando’s in Cardinal Walk, Victoria, at around 12.10pm on November 13th.
DC Waite said: “The victim reported having had a minor altercation with a group of customers.
“As the group were leaving the restaurant, a male in that group pointed the BB gun at the victim’s head at close range and fired a pellet, hitting her forehead.
“She did not suffer serious injury. The suspect and the group he was with made off.”
The gun thug was described as black, around 16-years-old, and was wearing a black puffer-style jacket with a furry hood, a hooded jumper, Adidas tracksuit bottoms, and a black backpack with a Nike logo. He was also wearing glasses.
DC Waite added: “There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”
