French politician Nathalie Loiseau reckons her cat is similar to the UK’s Brexit position.
Speaking to French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, the government minister said: “He wakes me up every morning miaowing to death because he wants to go out.
“And then when I open the door he stays in the middle, undecided, and then gives me evil looks when I put him out.”
Loiseau is one of the leading French Brexit politicians and has not been impressed, at all, at how Britain has conduced itself since voting to leave the EU.
She isn’t too keen on an extension to Article 50 either. Loiseau said: “Why would be there be an extension without a reason?
“We have been in discussions for quite a long time now. There needs to be something specific to justify an extension.”
