It comes as Sheffield City Council advised schools not to open to more pupils from Monday, citing fears over the NHS Test and Trace system.
“Support for a fixed date for school return is vanishing quickly. What is needed now is local flexibility to determine when it is right for schools to open up to more pupils, informed by evidence of what is happening in their local area.”

The university says it is ‘likely’ that social distancing will continue to be required.
France reopened about 40,000 preschools and primary schools last week, with classes capped at 15 students.
Hartlepool Council has followed Liverpool City Council in saying it will not let schools partially re-open next month.
Inspectors described teachers as having a “strong sense of social justice” and giving extra support to disadvantaged students.
Families are concerned they will be issued with fines if pupils are not sent to school.
