A jingle performed by Bell & Spurling on Nigel Farage’s GB News show is being described as the worst thing on the internet by people on social media.
The musical duo, best known for the single, “Sven, Sven, Sven”, performed on the news channel as it headed to Cardiff for a one-off show.
It comes after the Welsh Senedd banned GB News from televisions following a controversial Dan Wootton broadcast in which Laurence Fox made on-air comments about a female journalist, including asking “who would want to shag that?”.
Farage told reporters that the move was “censorship of the very worst kind” ahead of his show, which also raised the subject of 20mp speed limits.
“What do [people] think of a regulated news channel being banned from this building, I think it’s monstrous”, he added.
