A 16-year-old boy who handed himself into police after a teenager was stabbed appeared in court on Saturday.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with GBH last night over a knife attack in West Hampstead, north west London, on Tuesday.
Police said the victim, 17, remains in hospital in a critical condition.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “The 16-year-old male was arrested after handing himself in at a police station.
“He will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on the morning of Saturday, 10 November.”
