Dancing Queen Theresa May priced for Strictly by bookies

Bookmakers make Theresa May a 33/1 shot to waltz her way to Strictly Come Dancing’s Glitterball Trophy in any series before the end of 2020.

The Prime Minister swaggered onto stage to the tune of ABBA’s Dancing Queen at the Conservative Party conference earlier today and is now being eyed up by the leading online bookmaker as a future Strictly champion.

Away from the jigs and jives, Betway are odds-on at 5/6 that May will not secure a Brexit deal before the 29th March 2019, while her party remain the even-money underdogs to win the next general election with Labour 5/6.

Alan Alger said: “After getting a glimpse of what Theresa May has to offer on the dancefloor at the Conservative Party conference, BBC producers may be pencilling her in for a future series of Strictly and we think she’d probably go quite far too.

“Much like Ed Balls, May would probably have the public voting to keep her dancing each week and we go 33/1 for her to win any of the next two series.”
