An elderly woman has become the latest victim of a violent crime wave sweeping the capital after she was left fighting for her life following a street attack.
The 80-year-old woman was pushed over and suffered a serious head injury at around 2pm on Saturday afternoon outside a north London petrol station.
She was walking along Camden Road outside an Esso station when she was attacked.

Police are reviewing CCTV from a nearby Tesco Express.

Another neighbour added: “It’s very frightening, I have kids and you want to know what’s going on on your doorstep.
“It’s a little bit close to home.”
