Paramedics were met with a heartwarming note from a member public thanking them for helping a patient in need.
Bryony and Tracey from London Ambulance had parked up to treat a patient and arrived back to a hand-written note which thanked them for “serving us when we need you”.
The considerate person, who left the note on the windscreen of the ambulance in Hayes, west London, also offered up their driveway to park in.
It read: “Thank you for serving us when we need you.
“Use our driveway if you need more space.
“House 26 :).”
The thoughtful note, left on Tuesday night, follows a trend of nasty messages being left on ambulances complaining about where they park.
A spokeswoman for London ambulance said: “Our crew Bryony and Tracey were so pleased to come back to this lovely note left on their windscreen last night whilst attending a patient in Hayes.
“Thank you to the kind person who left this, our crews truly appreciate it.”
