KFC transformed its latest London restaurant into a nightclub for its grand opening this weekend.
The brand new Mornington Crescent KFC launched with blacked-out windows and high-tech lighting as it became a hip hop club for the night.
And given that you’re probably going to end up there anyway, this came as a godsend to clubbers who managed to feast away while strutting their stuff.
Top DJ Bradley Johnson and BURST spent the evening spinning tunes behind the counter for lucky customers.
The event was organised by the restaurant’s franchisee Khawar Hussain with help from local hip hop night BURST, who host emerging live acts and DJs at nearby Camden club KOKO every Friday.
The aim was to celebrate North London – an area rich in musical heritage and with world class nightlife.
Hussain said: “We knew it was only right to officially launch our new KFC in Mornington Crescent in true North London style – with beats to accompany our buckets.
”We wanted to give local customers a real night to remember – the chance to enjoy their favourite fried chicken in a totally unique environment.
”We love this community and wanted to celebrate its great qualities on our launch night – and we can’t wait to serve locals here for many years to come.”.
