By Jonathan Hatchman, Food Editor, @TLE_Food

School summer holidays may be well on their way, but the latest pop-up from Ellen Parr and Alice Hodge’s The Art of Dining will send some fun-loving foodies back to school for this unique dining experience. Taking place at the Round Chapel Old School Rooms in Clapton, the After School Club will transform the venue to its former glory with fully equipped black boards, tables that guests can draw on and pencil cases filled with cutlery, while Chef Ellen Parr will provide a five course School Dinners inspired menu.

Set to include the likes of Alphabet Spaghetti, served with a summer squash and Parmesan broth with Sage and Walnut Pesto, and a Walnut and Pomegranate braised Lamb Shepherd’s Pie. And to finish, dessert will be a Cardamom and Sour Cherry Spotted Dick, with Pistachio Custard and charred Peaches.

The After School Club is set to take place on July 22nd – 24th, 27th, 29th – 31st, and August 1st, between 7:30 – 11pm. Tickets include food, a cocktail, and an art class, priced at £55 per person. Further information can be found at theartofdining.co.uk.
