S.Pellegrino to host immersive ‘Taste of Italian’ banquets

Synonymous with Italian culture, style and fine dining, S.Pellegrino is preparing to host the final two events in a series of immersive ‘Taste of Italian’ banquets.

Following the success of three previous events, having taken place throughout the summer, S.Pellegrino will invite Londoners to enhance their culinary moments through these unique events in collaboration with the award-winning Italian Supper Club. Each of these supper clubs have been carefully curated with a bespoke menu of homemade Italian dishes, with each course accompanied by wines selected to “stimulate the senses and evoke memories that enrich and enhance diners’ culinary moment into an unforgettable experience.”

The first of these two supper clubs – Vendemmia (Grape Harvest: A celebration of winemaking) –  will take place on Wednesday 19th September at Dynamic Vines in Bermondsey. Here, Italian wines will be showcased, celebrating the harvest – one of the most important dates in the Italian calendar. A selection of earthy, autumnal dishes will be served alongside Italian wines. Wine experts will also be on hand to educate guests on Italy’s vast vineyards and terroirs, with tastings beforehand.

On Wednesday 10th October, Chestnut Hunting at Perseverance Works in Hackney will celebrate the autumnal fruits of Italy’s countryside. Alongside showcasing chestnuts, dishes will also have a focus on complementary ingredients such as pumpkin, sage and truffle oil, with the venue being transformed into a forest of trees for guests to forage and explore.

Tickets for the S.Pellegrino Taste of Italian banquets across London are priced at £45 per ticket (plus booking fee) and available from Billetto.co.uk. Further information on S.Pellegrino can be found here.
