Cheese on toast can be particularly satisfactory, but sometimes it’s necessary to splash out and re-work a classic to deliver perfection. Cooking time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
Reblochon, 250g
Cured ham, 8 slices
Sun-dried tomatoes, 200g
Olive oil, 8 Tbsp
Bread, such as Pain de Champagne, 8 slices
Salt & pepper
Method
1. Preheat the grill to a high temperature.
2. Place the Sun-dried Tomatoes and slices of Cured Ham on the slices of Bread.
3. Drizzle with Olive Oil and season with Salt and Pepper.
4. Cut the Reblochon into slices and arrange these over the Bread, then place under the grill for four to five minutes until the Cheese melts to a creamy consistency.
5. Serve immediately.
