Alongside the restaurant’s modern Indian cuisine with a distinctive British twist, Benares’ drinks menu features a collection of classic cocktails, each embellished with unusual spices, homemade chutneys or syrups. These may include the ‘Green Spice Martini’, featuring ginger and coriander; ‘Coconut & Pineapple Lassi’ – Benares’ take on a Piña Colada; or the ‘Passion Fruit Chutney Martini’. A sweet, subtly spiced drink, the latter is simple to make at home, including vodka, passion fruit juice and chutney.
