A pop-up ‘beak-to-feet’ chicken shop is set to be hatched by Fallow Restaurant.
FOWL will open on 3rd October 2023 and focus on long-life, soy-free and pasture-raised chicken from the Ethical Butcher and The Rare Breed Meat Company.
A photo posted to a new Instagram account shows a chicken leg with the foot intact dressed up in a corndog fashion, while other footage has been posted showcasing sandwiches, pies and sides.
Fallow – dubbed the best brunch spot in London by this newspaper – has developed a reputation for delivering stunning nose-to-tail dishes.
Jay Rayner says it’s some of the best food he’s tried in London, while Marina O’Loughlin says punters can expect “sensational cooking at the bling end of the Monopoly board”.
They’ve also picked up a string of awards including both the Marie Claire and GQ ‘sustainable restaurant of the year’ and the Caterer award for ‘best new restaurant’.
One of the latest additions is duck neck, which they stuff with shiitake, morel and duck offal moose, which is then smoked and topped with a red wine sauce.
