After all, during these difficult times, supporting our world-class local restaurant scene is more important than ever.

Based in Crouch End, Barbers Bazaar serves food inspired by the families of barbers working in food markets in old Pakistan and India, before the partition. Through his inventive takes on Indian classics, Yaseen intends to tell the story of the countries’ deep-rooted connection. On the menu, lamb saag bhuna masala, for instance, is a blend of popular dishes in both countries. Elsewhere, the chef’s barbecue skills are showcased in dishes such as ‘Barbers Devil Tandoori Wings’; Chooza chicken tikka achari; and Lahoori Beef Chapli kebab aur anar, marinated with rock moss, cloves and pomegranate. Twists on classic takeaway curries also include Bengali Chingri prawns; and paneer aur subz methi korma.
Order for Barbers Bazaar can be placed by phone, through the website, and directly through UberEats, Deliveroo, and Just Eat for delivery within a 2-mile radius. Further information can be found at barbersbazaar.com.
