French mustard brand releases limited edition ‘RoboCoq’ sandwich

A French mustard brand has decided to celebrate National Sandwich Day with the release of a one-off butty called ‘RoboCoq’.

Grey Poupon has collaborated with cult sandwich shop Max’s Sandwich Shop in north London’s Crouch Hill to bring a limited-edition sarnie, offering the first 100 for just £1.

In the ‘RoboCoq’ sandwich you’ll find Poached Chicken, Parsley, Pickle and Poupon Salad, Shredded Chicory, Grey Poupon Mustard Mayo, Chicken Liver Parfait, and Casava Root Shoestring Fries, all housed between two slabs of freshly made Focaccia.

Hailed as the king of mustards by chefs and foodies alike, since 1777, Grey Poupon has been crafting exceptional mustards fit for royalty.

Known as the original Dijon mustard, the brand is out to encourage food lovers to take a stand against the bland and be bold and fearless with their meal choices, something which Max Halley, of Max’s Sandwich Shop can certainly get behind!

Max’s Sandwich Shop will be serving the ‘RoboCoq’ at the Finsbury Park shop from 6pm-11pm on National Sandwich Day (Friday 3rd November). If you want this tantalizing sandwich you’ll have to be quick…
