Bringing something extra special to the West End, for one night only, next month, Soho’s new underground bar Cahoots will be teaming up with the Basement Galley for an afternoon of fine dining and cocktails in a post-war inspired environment.
Taking place on Sunday August 9th from 5pm, Chef Alex Cooper behind the increasingly popular Basement Galley (a Supper Club that operates from a decommissioned Victoria Line train situated in Walthamstow) will be delivering a quintessentially British-inspired tasting menu that pays homage to post-war Britain.
Priced at £38 per person, the four-course menu that’s paired with matching Cocktails will feature the likes of chilled wild Garlic and green Pea Soup, Cherry Wood Vodka and Grapefruit Cured Salmon, BBQ Lamb next with White Onion and Garlic puree, and an Apricot and Thyme Sorbet to finish. Meanwhile, three amusingly named Cocktails will be included to compliment the menu’s dishes: ‘Give Peas a Chance’, ‘Gipsy’s Kiss’, and a savoury Cocktail ‘See You Later Baked Potato’.
Cahoots can be found at 13 Kingly Court, London, W1B 5PW, and tickets for Cahoots Presents The Underground Supper Club can be purchased here.
