Following the success of Shot Espresso and the recently opened pizza and ice cream parlor – Ice & Slice, the team behind these two ventures will be opening a brand new 40-cover restaurant; Bistrò by Shot in Parson’s Green next week (March 19th).
Headed up by accomplished Head Chef Fabrice Meier, the new all-day dining concept will offer seasonal dishes with a French-Italian twist that’s set to use ingredients sourced predominantly from a range of local suppliers. With a menu on offer that’s set to evolve naturally through the seasons, bringing home-style cooking with an informal nuance, Bistrò by Shot boasts a menu that offers breakfast classics such as Eggs Benedict and French Toast while guests in search of a healthier morning meal will be able to choose from a range of super food-inspired smoothies and juices created in conjunction with the area’s local Beyond Health physiotherapy clinic.
Meanwhile, the elegant evening menu offers dishes such as Rolled Pork Belly, Crispy Polenta, Fennel Purée and Granny Smith Apple, Panfried Halibut with Fregola, Chargrilled Baby Leeks and Hazelnut Pesto and Beef Fillet with Pomme Purée, Bone Marrow Croquette and Madeira Sauce.
Also set to feature a bar menu that’s an evolution of sister bar Shot Espresso’s aperitivo concept with a selection on sharing plates, with the restaurant surely set to become one of Parson’s Green’s most exciting restaurant openings of early 2015.
