Boris Johnson has been called on to remove Francesca O’Brien as the Conservative candidate for the marginal South Wales seat of Gower.

Paul Sweeney says Tory MP Ross Thomson groped at him in the House of Commons Strangers’ bar, and tried to put his hands down the front of his trousers.

The report also said too many “vulnerable people” were detained, some for years, including those with mental health problems which “sharply deteriorated” in detention, adding: “The indefinite nature of detention also caused great distress.”
