WHO & WHY?
In May 2016 a group of south London based friends decided they wanted to give something back and so the idea of throwing a charity ball was born. With their diverse skill set ranging from interior designers, project managers and chefs, the group spent the next eight months carefully and meticulously curating the event with support from The Princeʼs Trust team.
Last year the event took place on December 1st and was a huge success with red carpets, acrobats, a live band and banquette style food from Jimmyʼs. Following an inspirational talk from one of the trust’s young ambassadors whose life was transformed by the charity we finished the evening raising over £10,000. And so it is that by popular demand we are back for a second year for more of the same and we would love for you to be there!
WHY GO?
This year’s theme is ‘Old Hollywood Glamour’, and once again we anticipate guests to wholeheartedly embrace the era. You’ll be welcomed with a beautiful bubbles and canapés reception, treated to a delicious three course feast created by renowned chef Jimmy Garcia, paired with plenty of wine. There’ll be an auction with lots including a three night stay at a small luxury hotel of the world, as well as a charity raffle with some super prizes donated by local businesses and some further afield. Held in the fabulously quirky Brixton East 1871, you’ll be dancing into the wee hours to live music, and we aim to smash our fundraising total from 2016 of £10,000!
