These stunning images show the majestic River Severn and nearby Malvern Hills swathed in morning mist as England shows its autumnal splendour.
Photographer Jan Sedlacek, waited for the perfect days when the skies were clear and the mist had settled to snap these incredible aerial shots at the foot of Malvern Hills.
The images taken above the little town of Malvern, Worcestershire show the winding River Severn disappearing into the mist that rolls above it.
The series of photos taken on September 26 an 27 show the pristine countryside and the beauty of the historic spa-town tucked into the hills that stand over it.
Dad-of-two Jan, said: “I took these images over two early mornings of flying my drone above the Malvern Hills and Great Malvern.
“Malvern hills has endless beauty and I have spent a lot of time observing nature, light, weather and the elements.
“Combined together they can create wonders through all of the seasons.
The Malvern hills are a range of hills that dominate the countryside of Hertfordshire, Worcestershire and northern Gloucestershire.
They are well known for their spa water- made famous by the holy wells scattered around the region.
Jan’s photos also capture the 19th century Malvern College, which is set proudly against the Malvern Hills.
He says that he would spend days on end going out before sunrise in the hope of capturing the mist setting perfectly over hills.
The 39-year-old added: “So once those precious moments happen I am straight there to try and bring to get the most out of them.
“I need to get that shot out of my head through the camera to the world for others to see.
“Sometimes you have to wait weeks or months or years for these perfect conditions.
“And sometimes you are out there almost non stop like last few days trying to capture the conditions perfectly.
“This year early signs of autumn brought some of my favourite conditions with magical touch of the mist.
Jan, who has lived in Malvern, Worcestershire for 13 years became a professional photographer nine years ago after being in awe of the natural beauty in Malvern.
He added: “It is amazing to be able to work in these conditions and I am constantly blown away by the stunning complexity and beauty of our planet and nature.
“Photography was always my bobby for many years but I have turned it into a business now because creating art for people is my passion. ”
